God Is Here

Sometimes in the midst of life it is hard to remember. To fathom. That God is here.

Perhaps if we stopped for a moment. Or two. We would see Him at work all around us.

In a sunset. In our child’s smile. In a phone call from a friend. Even in tears of sorrow over a lost loved one.

Esther. No mention of God. And yet He is there. All over the story. Even when it seems like not really.

Look a little closer. You’ll find Him.

In the midst of a snowy May 1, we ignored the weather. Grapes, pears, cheese, baguettes. Spring in our hearts.
